Our commitment
We want every bowfisher and supporter to be able to access our tournaments, records, membership, and resources — regardless of ability or the technology they use. Accessibility is an ongoing priority, and we work to keep this site usable as we add new features.
Standard we follow
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the internationally recognized standard referenced for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
What we've done
- Full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus indicator and a "skip to content" link
- Compatibility with screen readers (proper page structure, landmarks, and labels)
- Sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements
- Descriptive text alternatives for images
- Support for reduced-motion preferences
- Layouts that adapt to zoom and small screens
Ongoing effort
